Because Every Moment Matters.

Small moments.
Meaningful connections.

Small ideas, honest reflections, and a little humor from one principal who is still learning as she goes.

01 Welcome, leader.

Leadership does not have to be perfect to be meaningful.

I’m Jennifer, an elementary principal who believes some of the most important moments in a school day would never appear on a strategic plan.

A birthday visit. A handwritten note. A matching T-shirt. Five minutes spent listening to a student. These small choices can shape whether someone feels seen, welcomed, and part of something good.

And sometimes, the most responsible leadership decision is to laugh, regroup, and check whether anyone has seen the missing walkie-talkie.

“The best part of school leadership is getting to do the work alongside people who care deeply, show up generously, and still find reasons to laugh.”

WITH GRATITUDE FOR THE EDUCATORS, FAMILIES, STUDENTS, AND COMMUNITIES WHO FILL OUR SCHOOLS WITH LEARNING, CONNECTION, AND JOY.
